Can I make changes to my listing?
Yes, you can edit your listing at any time after it is approved. This is especially useful if you want to get your listing live right away and want to add some extra photos, videos or a virtual tour later on.
How do I receive sales enquiries?
We deliver all your sales enquiries by email direct to your inbox, helping you manage your sale simply and efficiently. If you opt for our Standard or higher plans, interested buyers can also contact you directly via telephone or WhatsApp.
How long does my boat listing last for?
Listings are renewed on a monthly basis. If your boat sells within this time, you can deactivate your listing to stop receiving enquiries. If your boat has not sold at the end of the month, you can renew your listing using the same plan or change to a different one.
Can I make enhancements to my boat listing?
Yes, we have several options to make your boat listing stand out.
From any plan, you can pay for a one-off boost to become promoted or featured. Promoted listings are pushed ahead of all normal listings and gain a “Promoted” badge; this way, your listing will be seen earlier in searches and be more noticeable than regular listings.
Featured listings are elevated ahead of all other listings (including promoted) to the top of searches, receive an even more noticeable badge, and enter the carousel of featured listings on the home page.
How many photos can I add?
Every plan has different allowances for photos, from 1 photo in our Free plan to 500 in our top tier plans. We find that most sellers tend to include between 20 and 70 photos.
Can I add videos and 360° virtual tours to my listing?
Yes, if you choose a Standard or higher plan you can add up to 3 videos. And if you choose a Premium or Dealer plan, you can add one 360° virtual tour.
Do I have to conduct viewings myself?
Yes, when selling a boat privately, you will need to arrange and conduct viewings with buyers. In most cases (not all), buyers will want to view the boat before committing to buying it. If you’re not comfortable doing this, using a broker might be a better option.
Will I be charged a commission on my boat sale?
No, we don’t charge commission on your sale. You just pay a flat fee for a listing that renews monthly for as long as you need it.
Can I sell boats as a broker or dealer?
Yes, we have two Dealer plans, the Dealer 10 and the Dealer 30 plans, that are tailored for boat sales professionals. The number indicates the number of listings included with each plan. And each plan can be purchased multiple times; so, for example, if you have a Dealer 10 plan and you sign up to a Dealer 30 plan as well, now you’ll have 40 listings!
How do I pay?
Once you’ve created your boat listing, you’ll be directed to our payment page, where you can pay securely online using a secure payment gateway, using Stripe and PayPal, where we accept Debit or Credit Cards.
